Job Overview
The Marketing Fellow supports the Communications Department in managing the collection and distribution of important digital assets and maintaining website content while participating in the creation of environmental graphics, and secondary print materials.
The Marketing Fellow works under the supervision of the Communications Manager and closely with the Communications Associate, Development Manager. They will have mentoring opportunities with the Director of Partnerships and Engagement and Executive Director.
Job Mission
The Marketing & Communications Fellow will play a critical role in organizing the Communications Department’s digital assets, support efficient asset sharing with partners, and contribute creative support to external communications and environmental graphics.

Organized all incoming logos for funders, program partners, and corporate partners; up to 75
Ensured that all partners with organizational assets, all Triennial events, and all photos are updated on website throughout the Triennial
Maintaining an organized digital asset system in Google Drive for all marketing materials
Ensured all funders, program partners, and corporate partners have access to Triennial brand assets
Successfully coordinating photography for events, ensuring timely photo collection and accurate crediting. As well as potentially managing photographers on-site.
Creating and delivering digital assets in Canva as needed for promotional use
Ensured advertising assets are delivered for all paid and in-kind media placements with support of Communications Manager
Primary Responsibilities
Website Management—Regularly update and organize content on the Triennial’s squarespace website.
Digital Asset Management—Help develop a checklist for tracking digital content and assets from program partners, funders, and corporate sponsors (e.g., logos, blurbs)
Procuring Partner Assets—Secure content for above mentioned including weekly outreach to outstanding partners for missing assets.
Design Assistance—Draft design templated materials in canva (e.g., event flyers, social media posts).
Provide Assets—to Partners Administrative tasks for the implementation of paid and in-kind media placements, including detailed tracking and trafficking of approved assets from internal designers to various media and partners in a timely manner.
Photography Coordination—Assist with scheduling and booking photographers for events and projects. Collect, organize, and ensure accurate photo crediting for various uses.
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Aesthetically oriented or visual communicator
Strong organizational skills
Experience in Squarespace, able to update website content independently
Proficient with Google Suite products including Excel
Experience creating digital content in Canva
Experience in arts and culture organizations and/or the non-profit sector strongly preferred
Reporting
Reports to the Communications Manager
Compensation
$23 to $25 per hour
