Magdiela Matta (she/hers) is the Community Manager at the PRX Podcast Garage in Allston. She handles all of the programming and outreach there. Prior to joining PRX, she was an Arts & Culture Fellow at WBUR, and, before that, was an Associate Producer at the Loop Lab in Cambridge. She also has experience as a freelance audio producer & enjoys the magic behind storytelling.

She grew up participating in non-profit organizations like Zumix and Artists for Humanity. Her love for culture and community have followed her through her career and they continue to be a driving force in all of her work.

She’s deeply connected to East Boston, where she was born and raised and is now trying to cultivate community connections in Allston (where her job is located) as well as her new home in Roslindale where she recently moved after getting married.

On her off time, you could correctly assume that she’s reading a memoir with her cat somewhere nearby.
