BOSTON PUBLIC ART TRIENNIAL
Art for Boston.
All for Free.
The Boston Public Art Triennial fosters relationships between artists and the public to create art that opens minds, conversations, and spaces across the city. From new public art commissions to local artist support, to the next citywide triennial, every experience is an invitation to experience Boston differently. We’re glad you’re here.

Support more connection.
Each project is the result of people who believe art should belong to everyone.
Your generosity, combined with the support of our funders, keeps public art free and accessible across Boston’s neighborhoods and sustains the programs that make it possible.
See how your support shapes the city, one project at a time.
Find, Foster, Focus.
After mounting a successful historic first for Boston, Triennial 2025, it’s not surprising that people are asking us if we’re taking a break. The short answer is, nope.
We’ll continue to find local talent through our unique Public Art Accelerator program and foster new forms of public art through at least one new commission and multiple free collective art experiences while focusing on developing the next iteration, Triennial 2028, to be sustainable and responsive to the times.
We’d love you to be part of the process. Take a survey today or visit our Join Us page to get involved.
